How To Use The Scanner

Perform The Following To Use The Box Spread Scanner

 

Note: If you can not watch video then please do updates to browser and video player plugins as noted below video.

1) Make sure you have the LATEST release of the browser

Google Chrome is highly recommended for speed and performance of the Box Spread Scanner!

Latest Google Chrome Browser Download: Click HERE (REQUIRED)
When you login and go to the spread page it will direct you to download the plugin. Do so and download the browser
Note if you have downloaded it and later it gives you the message again that means it has been updated so download it again and then restart the browser.

Other Options:

Latest Explorer Download: Click HERE to download  (REQUIRED)
IMPORTANT:  No auto ticket plugin is currently available for internet explorer but we should have one sometime in July 2012.
If you use Explorer you will not be able to use the auto ticket plugin.

2) Install the Auto Ticket Plugin

1) After installing, click logout, then close all browser windows and restart your browser

2) Login back into the classroom

3) Login to your nadex demo or live account. Get an account with Nadex at www.apexinvesting.com/nadex if you do not have one. (If you are not logged in to Nadex then the plugin will not work.)

4)   The Chrome Will show in top right corner next to the wrench (small purple box with apex logo)
Firefox will show in bottom right corner under the scroll bar (small purple box with apex logo)

Click on plugin and you can choose demo or live account and set default order quantity
You must be logged into demo to use the demo. You must be logged into live to use the live. You also can be logged
into both and switch back and forth using the plugin.

5)  Click Buy or Sell on the Spread Scanner then immediately go to the nadex tab/window. You will most likely see a popups blocked error click to always allow popups from nadex. You will have to repeat this for bot the live and demo account. Also if you install the plugin on both browsers you will have to repeat it on the live and demo account on both browsers.  (note if you upgrade your browser, clear your cache/cookies, or update the plugin you may need to repeat this step to ensure the tickets will open.

6) Now you can click on buy or sell and the ticket will open so long as you have followed the above instructions.

7) If you have any issues see the trouble shooting section below.

This will not work on explorer. We plan on releasing this in explorer in late July. There is a lot of additional coding required on internet explorer. We will make a post and send out an email when this is complete.

 

 

3) Trouble Shooting

1) Ensure you are using firefox or chrome

2) Ensure you have downloaded the latest versions. This is required

3) Close and Reopen Browser (i.e. if you have 5 chrome browsers open close all of them tabs and browsers)

4) Ensure pop ups are not blocking the nadex site. Test by clicking on ticket and then immediately go to the nadex tab/window to see if you get a pop up warning. Then approve all pop ups from Nadex.

5) Ensure you are logged into the Nadex account you chose in the plugin (i.e. demo or live)
