Trading Room Webinar Recording
Posted in Today’s recording of the live trading room webinar has been posted. We made some money today on shorting the ES and hedging it with Nadex US 500 spreads.

With $120 risk we made a net of over $300.
We went short the ES 2 contracts – long 10 us 500 spreads right before the annoucment by the Supreme Court (risk being $120 total if the market were to shoot up)
Just in case the ruling caused the market to fly up we were bought 3 Nadex US 500 spreads that had until the end of the trading day to expire to cover our short positon. (risk $90 or so for this “straddle” hedge to our hedge trade)
The market dropped, pulled back, and then dropped more . We closed out one position and began trailing down our stop. The US 500 spreads expired out but since we had already locked in more profit than our spreads cost (the hedge part of the trade) then that was just fine. We just kept trailing down our stop on our remaining position. Finally we closed out both short contracts at a nice NET profit of over $345 on only a $105 net risk (since we were hedging our ES trades with Nadex US 500 Spreads).
Just in case the market came back at days end we left on the 3 other spreads as they had till 4:15 ET/3:15 CT.
Well then later in the day the market rallied at the end of the day and the three Nadex US 500 spreads we put on as the “straddle’ hedge to our hedge settled out at breakeven (payout of $92.01)- which was a perfect scenario.
